Birthday: October 26, 770Background InformationHe was born never knowing what his own planet was like before the androids came. His family would spend most of their time during the androids rampage hiding in any subway systems they could with the support of the Scarlet Guards. When the androids were finally killed by Trunks in 785 it would mark the first time where him and his family could feel at least somewhat safe, with the Scarlet Guards keeping bandits away from the newly formed commune, they were able to find a home and live a semi-normal life as the rebuilding occurred.When he turned 18 at 788 he decided he wanted to join the Scarlet Guard wanting for a better life for the people he cared about. Seven years into service and the next extinction level event occurred by the name of Goku Black. Not much about him was known other than the fact that he tore through anything the Scarlet Guard put out, worst still they were still tinkering with an old ship they had found years ago out in the wastes alongside mysterious bodies of what were clearly alien in origin. It forced them all into hiding once again.His stellar service and combat ability with the tech they found on the ship led to him being the first soldier to be equipped with experimental power armor, made with the combined alien and red ribbon tech it was the most advanced piece of technology other than the People's Fist (Frieza's mothership left behind when his goofy ass died) that was still kept in hiding and being worked on. While it was clear that it would never be able to combat Goku Black it could at least keep up with lower power levels at the time. It would mainly be used just to keep the people safe as all they could do was hide and bide their time until the ship was done with the potential to even completely escape Black’s rampage.Eventually him and the others would be forced to completely leave the timeline to avoid the erasure of said timeline. Ironically ending up in the main timeline and while homesick and wishing to return home instead would end up on an Earth-like planet, making it the new Home World for the Scarlet Guard and enabling them to accomplish their goal.He now lives a semi-peaceful life in one of the flourishing cities for once living a comfortable life.PersonalityHe is very much troubled by his upbringing having survived not one but two extinction level events. Having to basically fight and survive most of his life has really done a number on his psyche. Yet he still tries to keep his idealism intact, much like group he joined. He also knows just how outclassed his kind tends to be and it does get frustrating at times.

(age 18-20) Age 788 AlternateThis verse takes place post the defeat of the androids but before Goku Black appears. Beret has recently joined up with the Scarlet and finally seeing what peace looks life after growing up through nothing but death and destruction.Doomed World
(age 26) Age 796 AlternateThis verse mainly takes place during the time of the Zero Mortal Plan. Beret is one of the first to be equipped in power armor. He still spends most of his day on patrol though, making sure that no bandits try to harass any survivors as well as in general acting as a distraction in case they need to evac civilians and others.Solidarity Forever!
(age 26-30) Age 779-783 MainNow living peacefully on New Earth, he still trains and improves just like the power armor he dons. He at this point has hopes that future generations will never have to go through the struggles of the past.

Scarlet Guard

Background InformationThey were formed in 740 with the goal of overthrowing King Furry and installing a worker’s democracy. They would mainly end up in conflict with the Red Ribbon Army over land that was under the Scarlet’s protection. But the RRA would usually end up getting the upper hand due to better equipment. The scales would be tipped when suddenly the RRA suffered a collapse, allowing the Scarlet Guard to raid and loot bases.By the time the saiyans land on Earth in (date) they now mainly hold onto smaller villages in the outskirts, sometimes fighting off both RRA remnants and the King’s Guards. Never being able to fully engage but mostly just keeping to themselves as they educated and fed the people under their protection.When the androids caused massive upheaval it would cause the Scarlet Guard to be able to grow exponentially, they would also find remnants of Frieza’s old ship. Left behind from an old fight. With it they would work on the scouters, blasters and armor they had found in an attempt to make it better for human use.When the androids were defeated they had now held a sizable amount of land and instead focused on the rebuilding effort and a potential real revolution.But that time would never come, Goku Black would appear and throw everything into sheer chaos. With both sides facing a genocide an alliance was formed. While it didn’t make a real difference it did allow both sides to work together in ways they never had before.All that wouldn’t matter when the skies turned a sickly green and faces popped up. While unsure of how ready their new ship was it would have to serve as their escape from a doomed world and a soon to be doomed timeline. Using the onboard teleportation device (name coming) whose original purpose was to instantly teleport a force from one point to another using time to instead shift to another timeline where they would instead find a new world to live on.Said timeline would end up being the main timeline and while some wanted to come back to Earth and live their life, the majority after a vote would instead elect to claim a new home world for the Scarlet Guard, wanting to avoid more bloodshed after all the years of fighting.Deciding to just name their new home “New Earth” it has quickly become a flourishing home, away from the horrors of war, or at least they would hope so.With an official end to the need for the Guard to lead, a new civilian government was formed and all powers turned to them. This would lead to the creation of the United Socialist Council Republics of New Earth (USCRNE)

USCRNE

BACKGROUND INFOThe United Socialist Council Republics of New Earth is the name (unless they expand to other planets) for the nation that now lives on New Earth (Formally known as Planet Frieza 503, unbeknownst to the Earthlings living there). It is made up of multiple provinces that are then divided into urban cities and rural farmlands. The nation makes sure that all needs are met and the workplaces are all democratic. The original species that lived on the planet had been wiped out some time ago by the Frieza Force to be sold due to it’s habitability.MILITARY STRENGTHThe military of the USCRNE is very much a new development compared to the guerilla force it used to be from before. Its forces are divided up between Scarlet People’s Army, Scarlet People’s Airforce and the Scarlet People’s Space Fleet (Very small atm). The Scarlet Guard name is now used for members of the militia, used only as a defensive force trained in guerilla warfare and made to hold the enemy advance till the heavy hitters come.TechnologyEnergy Absorption: From a raid on what appeared to be an old Red Ribbon Army lab came blueprints on a supposed device that could “absorb energy.” While it was unknown what this implied exactly, it appeared that it might have something to do with the blasts that certain users could fire from their hands, including those dreaded androids. It would be adapted to power armor to give the user a method to counter such blasts.Scouters, Blasters, Armor: Found at an abandoned space ship alongside alien corpses, the tech was taken, tested and found to be once again connected to this usage of so called energy. The blaster was surprisingly sophisticated and worked alongside the eye piece. This also somehow enabled the user to fly.Tesla Technology: A breakthrough in weaponry, it’s a weapon that can shoot off a bolt of pure electricity, especially effective against robotics but still very much effective against organic targets.Laser Technology: Another breakthrough, this weapon has the ability to practically slice right through most armors as well as set men ablaze. It was also made as an anti-android weapon.Power Armor: Equipped with energy absorption that helps power it. Scouter tech forms the HUD. Frieza Arm cannons? Tesla gauntlets? An onboard AI helps the user in a fight. Due to the use of Frieza tech the power armor also essentially uses the users ki to help fight. The Scarlet doesn’t know/fully understand it. Later developments would include a personal teleportation device and shielding.Invulnerability/Shielding (GUARDIAN): It works by [REDACTED] giving the user a faint red glow making them impervious to all forms of damage. It can only last for a few seconds and uses a lot of power to even function.Teleportation device(Temporal Shifting, Temporal Leap): Based on Bulma’s time machine it allows someone to instantly move from point A to B using time (Imagine a time machine but you keep the time the same as present). The Shifter allows the Scarlet Guard to truly be an army on the move, one minute they’re there and the next they’re gone with only a blue glow left.Temporal Healing: Discovered sometime after the development of (teleportation device). Temporal Healing uses time to heal wounds (haha). In a very basic way it reverses time a few seconds.Also yes I was heavily heavily influenced by Red Alert 2 I am trash.
